Story:
These products are made by Nurture A Child Uganda, a locally lead Ugandan NGO that provides shelter, love and care to vulnerable children. The project initially started when the directors James and Norah Eparu opened their home to more vulnerable children and needed funding. They decided that as an organization they could work together to provide some of their own income. This project was started in April 2009 and the profits made have helped to cover the basic living expenses to provide for their staff and 22 children. These products are literally their "milk and bread". They love this project as it builds new skills, develops creative abilities, empowers the staff, and helps them share the story of Nurture A Child Uganda. All of the materials used are locally sourced and are environmentally friendly.
