Story:
Raul is a young man determined to change the course of history. Born deaf and mute in a remote area of Guatemala, Raul grew up feeling alienated and abandoned from his family and community. He grew up facing extreme physical and emotional abuse from strangers and others in his life. 3 years ago Raul partnered with NationWares to begin a small leather enterprise. Raul enjoys working with his hands and creating leather products and new fashion designs. He is now a budding entrepreneur living in Guatemala City. He is proud to know that his leather products are sold in North America to help strengthen his enterprise and build a base that will allow him to provide job opportunities for others in need.
