Solidarity with Bangladesh

We wanted to share this powerful image from our Fashion Arts Toronto runway show on Friday night with our customers, fans, and followers. This really speaks to what we stand for and what we believe in as a company. We are so proud to demonstrate our ethics, our ethos, and our commitment to both people and planet. When we heard of the devastating news surrounding the factory deaths in Bangladesh we knew a powerful message had to get thru to all fashion consumers. We were delighted to collaborate with the Azadi project on the runway and we were blessed by the message of solidarity they shared throughout our shows segment. Regardless of your age, sex, race, or even socio-economic status we challenge you to demand better from the fashion industry. How many more people need to die, how many children need to be enslaved before we will realize the eternal price we will pay for our addiction to “fast fashion” to “cheap fashion” or buying into brands that don’t even treat their workers like living and breathing human beings.

We challenge you to read the news, do your research, and don’t just count your blessings but make a choice to live in a way that shows honour and respect to both people and planet. Let love triumph over profit.
