Story:
Emaynesh is a young widow living in Assella Ethiopia. The stress of supporting seven children has taken its toll. Emaynesh struggled for a long time before she was able to achieve sustainable employment. Emaynesh now works with NationWares to expand her clay enterprise. She specializes in creating clay coffee pots in her local community. Emaynesh now creates clay necklaces for NationWares. The demand created by NationWares allows Emaynesh to expand her business and employ her 26 year old daughter Alemwork. Two incomes in one household will allow Emaynesh to fully support her children and send them to school. She says she has experienced such a blessing that she now wishes to share it with other women in her community by providing them with jobs in clay production.
